After 12 days with my new Android phone, I am not quite as adept at using it as I am at speaking Latin, my fourth language–and one that I have not studied for 60 years. I’ll be doing well if I eventually progress to being as adept with the phone as I am at speaking German–my third language, and one that I have not studied for 50 years.
