Your Daily Niblet #65

Almost everyone knows about Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), that typically comes on around Halloween and lasts until the first snow covers the ground. But how many of you are familiar with Seasonal Apathetic Lassitude (SAL), that typically comes on around July 1st and lasts until the nights are nearly as long as the days? While not emotionally painful like SAD, SAL can have nearly as devastating an effect on one’s personal productivity. There’s probably a shorter and more familiar name for this affliction, but right now I can’t think of one.
