When does reopening equal closing? When the Halifax Bridge Commission, in its supreme wisdom, having bypassed three months when bridge repairs could have been done with no inconvenience to anybody, waits until summer to close the MacKay Bridge for the entire weekend, leading to massive traffic tieups for most of the weekend.
